Organic Feedback

"I am eating your products daily and feeling healthier than ever."

How it Works

Hoosier Organic Connection is a year-round natural food delivery service. Our focus is supporting local farmers using sustainable practices. We source locally first - from our own Carley Elk Farm as well as from other local farmers. Year-round local items may include: free range eggs, Elk burgers and steaks, Free range Beef and Pork.

In addition to local produce, we buy a wide variety of fruits and vegetables from certified organic farms outside of Indiana, when local produce isn't available or doesn't naturally grow in this area.  This produce is sourced from B & B Organics, the only certified organic wholesaler in the state.  Why do we offer produce from a wholesaler during the off months?

  1. Eating fresh fruits and vegetables year-round is an important part of a healthy diet.
  2. Quality organic produce is available at only a few locations in the Indianapolis metro area.
  3. From our own family's experience, we don't always have as much time to shop as we'd like, and realized your family may not have the time (or desire) to source & select quality produce. Our goal is to make it more convenient (and economical) for your family to eat well.
  4. To save you money!  At first glance it may seem like delivery to your door is an extravagance you can't afford. But we have heard innumerable times from our clients that they are actually saving money in the long run because:

  • By eating more nutrient dense food, you need to consume (i.e. buy) less. (click here to see a chart comparing mineral content in organically -vs- non-organically grown produce).
  • Clients report they are "shopping the edges" of the grocery store, picking up staples, rather than processed, pre-packaged foods. This leads to a cost savings by:

         • not paying for unnecessary packaging & processing.

         • not paying for all the funky artificial ingredients used to increase shelf-life and etc.

         • fewer spontaneous purchases when "cruising the aisles."

Fruits and vegetables will naturally vary from week to week depending on what is available.

Some things to consider when signing up:

  • How much produce does your family generally eat in a day or an average week?
  • Will you need your delivery every week or every other week?
  • Do you prefer more fruits, more vegetables, or both?
  • Are there any special circumstances we should take into consideration, such as allergies, special diets, picky eaters or even the "banana phase"?

Once you've decided on the produce box that suits you best, why not add some grocery items to your delivery from our Add-on list . Try some free range eggs, Elk or Bison.
